Michael G. Booth, is widely recognized as an accomplished artist. His art is characterized by subtle emotion, skillful control, and daring composition. Having studied at Boise State University and Utah State University, Michael holds the ultimate studio degrees offered in America. Along with professional art accomplishments, he has been successful as a college art educator. He has authored several art books and has published many art instructional videos. Michael has accumulated an extensive exhibition record of numerous regional, national, and international art shows such as the National Society of Painters in Casein and Acrylic, Audubon Artists of America, and the National Watercolor Society, in New York City, Watercolor USA in Missouri, San Diego Watercolor Society in California, to name just a very few. He has won a good share of art awards and gained considerable national recognition and respect. One of his last one-man exhibitions entertained over 70,000 patrons. Michael has organized, directed, and judged numerous significant national and regional art shows and exhibitions. His name has been inducted into Who’s Who in American Art and Who’s Who in America. For many years he has owned his own art galleries in several key locations in the northwest. His art is acquired internationally and is included in important collections such as those of actor Robert Redford, singers Ann Murray and Lee Greenwood, business tycoon J.R. Simplot, former U.S. Senator Gordon Smith, former Idaho Governor John Evans, several National Banks, the Quarter Horse Association, and others. One of his paintings hangs permanently in the governor’s chamber at the state capitol and many of his life-sized monumental works have been placed in various significant public visitor sights throughout the country.
